September Recipe: Easy Apple Crisp

🍎 SEPTEMBER RECIPE
EASY APPLE CRISP
Nothing says “September in Utah” quite like warm apples and cinnamon. Easy Apple Crisp is one of those dishes that looks impressive but is ridiculously easy, and your house will smell AMAZING while it's baking.
INGREDIENTS FOR EASY APPLE CRISP
Apple Filling
6–7 apples, peeled and sliced
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp lemon juice
Crumble Topping
1 cup old-fashioned oats
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, vanilla, and lemon juice.
Spread apples into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
Mix the topping ingredients until crumbly.
Sprinkle evenly over the apples.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
Nicole's tip: If you're having people over, make easy apple crisp ahead of time and warm it up right before serving. Your kitchen will smell like fall, and everyone will think you worked much harder than you actually did. 😉
